Suspenseful. Well Written. Great Story. (Book Review for “Accused”)

Accused is a suspenseful fiction book written by former police officer Janice Cantore.

This book was very well written and felt like a real life account.  I found it hard to put down as my imagination was captivated with wondering what would happen next.  Not knowing what to expect with this book, I was pleasantly surprised by how it captured my attention.

I would recommend this book for people looking for a suspenseful read that does a great job of bringing fiction to real life.  The story feels like you are reading a true-life account of a cop facing the issues of her life, while being caught up in the suspense of finding out what she believes.  Her inner life is further challenged on the outside as circumstances find her in the middle of a suspenseful story of life and death, while trying to figure out whom she can trust.

Lastly, the author writes about faith in this book in a non-cheesy way, which never detracts from the action of the story.  I would recommend this book for anyone who enjoys suspenseful stories that lead to substance and meaning.  Of course, anyone who likes or even works in a law enforcement setting could love this book even more.  Basically, this book is a great read for anyone wanting to enjoy a suspenseful book that will reveal action, redemption, trust and honor.
